Greg Graham is a graduate of the University of Louisville and a former professional baseball player with the Boston Red Sox and New York Mets. Greg was a 12th round draft choice of the Boston Red Sox in the June 1990 Major League Baseball Draft. He played seven years of professional baseball finishing up in Norfolk (AAA) for the New York Mets in 1995, and then starting a career in golf. In 1996, Greg played golf professional on the European Challenge Tour and has qualified locally for the Remax Long Drive Championship. Greg is still actively playing in PGA section events as he won the 2010 Powerbilt / Bionic Pro-Am and the 2010 Fort Knox Pro-Am, in which he shot 63. He is a graduate of the PGA of the Americas Professional Golf Management program and is a class A member of the PGA of America. In addition, Greg serves on the PGA President’s Council for Growing the Game, and in 2011, the PGA of America honored him as a Top 100 Performer by. He was the head-teaching professional at Spring Lake Golf Center in Louisville for nine years. His career goal is to become one of the top golf instructors in the world. Greg is a D-Plane Certified (3Jack Golf) Instructor and he has helped hundreds of juniors reach their goal of receiving college scholarships. He has instructed many golfers who have gone on to play golf professionally, become PGA members, teaching professionals and an array of other jobs in the golf world. In the last two years, Greg has given over 4000 golf lessons, making him one of most sought after instructors in the state of Kentucky. Currently, he is the owner and operator of the Graham Golf Academy at Different Strokes at River Road in Louisville, KY. Different strokes has been rated in the top 100 golf ranges in America by Golf Range Magazine, based on teaching programs, customer service, retailing and community outreach.
