"The teaching philosophy at Graham Golf Academy is centered on the individual."
The Graham Golf Academy acknowledges that every golf swing is as unique as the individual that makes it. The goal of our instruction is consistent ball flight regardless of what the student’s golf swing looks like. Our comprehensive understanding of the physics of golf allows us to instruct each student based on his or her own strengths and natural ability, rather than teaching all students the same vanilla lesson. The sciences we base our instruction on are black and white laws of the D-Plane and the new ball flight laws. During instruction, the tools we use include the latest ball flight monitoring technology from V1Golf and Doppler radar. However, these tools by themselves and a book about physics will do little to lower a student’s score. We believe that the topics such as the new ball flight laws are important for students to understand as it applies to their individual ability. At the Graham Golf Academy, we use video technology to show students their own swing from different perspective. We then analyze their individual swing as it relates to principals of the D-Plane. The refined art of instruction, from teaching over 2000 lessons per year, lies in how we explain these principals in a simple easy way for students to understand. In addition, helping students understand the new ball flight laws allows them to analyze and correct their own swing faults while on practice tee or during a round, without the use of any technology at all.
